Madras Curry Powder (ounce)
Indian cooks have an almost uncanny ability to spice their meals individually and the while cooks there can whip up a powder on the fly it is often much more difficult for many of the rest of us to do the same. Madras Curry (also called Madras Powder or Madras Curry Powder) is a spice seasoning flavor that is a classic curry powder that originated in Southern India. Madras curry is the style of curry that western tastes expect from a curry powder. But don't mistake Madras Curry for a bland curry powder as it is certainly rather complex. Hand blended from coriander seed, brown mustard seed, turmeric, fenugreek seed, cumin seed, red pepper flakes, ginger root, Korintje cinnamon, Malabar peppercorns, and cardamom seed. Use Madras Curry Powder in braises, marinades and sauces.
